Jeremy Harwell recently sent over a few gorgeous images he took for the Atlanta Weddings book. The piece this bride is wearing, Forsythia, was from the "Flowers of Spring" one-of-a-kind set that I put out last year. Isn't this bride just flawless?... |
Invitation Ideas: Kelli, one of our readers, alerted me to Costco's incredibly affordable invitations. I love the inclusion of real-life objects into invitations, like this one with feathers. Believe it or not, Costco even does letterpress! You can choose from a variety of styles for less than $4 per invite (a very, very good price since letterpress usually costs around $10/invite; note, however, that the paper might not be as thick as with a more expensive company). On this topic, why not go for a crisp, white, heavenly "Happily Feather After" theme? I absolutely LOVE the idea of having feathe... |
More to come for today, but for now I'll leave you with this vintage Vogue cover by George Plank. By the mischievious look in her eye, I'd say she's planning on seperating that bird from his hind feathers. Seems like she already has quite enough. Feather fetish? Kinky. If there's anything to be learned from her style, I'd say it's... don't be a bird. No just kidding. I'd say it's DO add color with accessories to your black/white gowns. Yes, do. See here.... |

They come in White, Ivory, Black, and my favorite the Dove Grey. With all of the clutches, you get to pick the color of the lining of shantung silk of your choice and also have two line message embroidered inside. I just love feather clutches! Something about this is so airy and romantic! If you are incorporating feathers in your wedding, this clutch is a must have! What a beautiful keepsake ... |
We are grateful for a full painting table this time of year. It seems I have been painting blooms galore even though we are diving right into the fall season! Meredith’s design has been a long time coming and has experienced a good deal of evolution throughout the design process, but we could not be more thrilled with the result. A rich palette of crimson, gold and chocolate brown was perfect for Meredith and Richard’s sophisticated affair. A large, ruffled and red rose took center stage in the design and really popped off the page with its intense watercolor ink hand painting appl... |
