One of the objectives when starting to plan your wedding is to decide on a theme or think about some colors you would like to include in your wedding. This is a very important task because it sets the mood of your wedding and is incorporated into many aspects of the wedding, from bridesmaids dress to escort cards to favors to ribbon on your bouquet. Some things to keep in mind with your wedding colors are: - What time of year am I getting married? - Which color would I like to do accents with and which one is my main color? - Where are we getting married? - Do we have a theme we want to ... |

Choosing your wedding colors… so fun! And besides saying “yes” probably one of the easiest decisions to make. Often times, the wedding colors are based on favorite colors or the season of the wedding, but then there is still the consideration of choosing the final hues. Very bridal (obviously) and sort of a-seasonal (if that is even a word, probably not). So win... |
Never in my life has color mattered to me so much than now. The closest I’ve ever come to caring about color before was when I decided to paint my bedroom purple at age 12. Lilac Dude and I are planning a blue and green spring wedding. I’m not sure those colors can be pulled off at any other time of year. Originally, I had a beautiful black and white wedding planned with blue flowers. However elegant that would have been, I got really sentimental when my friend said, “it just doesn’t seem like you unless it’s green.” We changed our colors in 30 seconds of conversation. I like our ... |
