I've been on the search for some wedding shoes for a little bit now since I wanted to have them before my final dress fitting which happens to be this coming weekend. I was trying to find a greyish purple shade to match some of the wedding decor but let me tell you - it's a tough color to match. And then I saw these pups on the clearance rack at Nordstrom Rack!{via} My Guy{via} My GuyI never said I was a foot model! And the best part is - they were only about $30 on the clearance rack! Oh and that they are insanely comfortable believe it or not. You can't beat tha... |
Now that the venue is booked, you need to make sure you are dressed appropriately for the tropical climate. Attire that is made from lightweight material that allows the skin to breathe is ideal for everyone. For the women, chiffon is a popular choice because it flows beautifully in the summer breeze. For the men, a white or natural coloured suit made from cotton, linen or bamboo is trendy. Images from Bella Beach Weddings... |

And, a bit later Mark returns with the Top Spring Fashion Tips-------------- above photos courtesy of House of Salgado Today's trend in wedding attire for gentleman is a night-life suit which is a black tone-on-tone fine wool suit without satins rather than a tuxedo. Cultural attire has always captured my attention. I am of African descent and definitely appreciate the beautiful, colorful wedding garments worn by the bride and groom. The yellow in this ensemble is beautiful. The outfits blend together harmoniously and I love the design of this bride’s dress. Photo Credit: TK-Designs.com photo credit: www.tk-designs.com The earth tones in this bride and groom’s attire is stunning. The brown swirl detailing is beautiful together and the brides veil trimmed in matching brown silk is lovely. photo credit: www.tk-designs.com You have to appreciate the... |
We've seen a lot of brides opt for untraditional wedding attire lately, and groomsmen are getting in on the act too. If it matches the vibe of the wedding, I'm a fan of the suit-and-sneakers look. Cheryl and David decked out their groomsmen in black suits and black-and-white Converse shoes for their wedding in the Bahamas, while Courtney and Charlie's groomsmen sported chocolate-brown and robin's egg blue Nikes to match the color palette of their wedding in Minnesota. (Check out more formalwear photos). What do you think: Love or hate the idea of sneakers on groomsmen? Are you including an... |

Filed under: Fashion, GroomsI'm a big sports fan, but I never would have considered incorporating athletic attire into my wedding ceremony. Mesh jerseys and black ties just don't seem to go well together. But Uni Watch (a sports blog all about uniforms) contributor Joe Hilseberg found a way to show off his sports enthusiasm without compromising on the formality of the wedding. Well, not much.Hilseberg had tuxedo vests for himself and each of his groomsmen custom designed with each man's last name and a number to resemble a sports jersey. I'm not sure what the front looked like, but a plain... |

Mixing traditional ceremonies with modern receptions is the wedding code du jour -- and that includes the bride’s attire. While some women love the idea of changing into a second less formal dress for their reception, to me, that’s a wedding no, no. Why only wear your gorgeous gown for an hour? I do, however, love the idea of modernizing your look post-ceremony. Our Real Wedding bride, Charlize Lin from Dana Point, CA wore a classic vintage-inspired lace-trimmed mantilla veil while exchanging vows and switched to a funky tulle-trimmed cocktail hat for the reception. So, ... |
Hi! I will be the guest of my boyfriend to a June outdoor wedding held upstate in June. The invitation says the attire is garden formal with hats encouraged. I'm ok with the hat idea. In fact, I'm kinda excited. But the dress situation is freaking me out. I am "that girl" who only wears black. What the hell does a girl like me wear to a wedding advertising "lawn games" after the catholic ceremony?? I'm not opposed to floral or lace for a wedding, but I dont have the slightest idea where to begin. Please please help. ***** GARDEN FORMAL? WITH LAWN GAMES?? Jesus H. I th... |
