Happy Friday! Hope you’re headed to the beach or somewhere fun for the weekend. Here at Project Wedding, we’re musing about this super fabulous, vintage nautical dessert spread that Kaylee Eylander sent over to us. The delicious and oh-so-creative baked goods were designed by the talented team at Jenny Cookies. Such sweet nautical-inspired confections… oh, and we love the fresh take on the primary colors!... |
Liz & Tom injected a subtle nautical theme into their October wedding. “In our first few years as a couple I used to call Tom the one-armed fish man,” Liz laughed. “Our venue was The Bull Hotel in Bridport, a harbour market town, and we both want a scrimshaw anchor tattoo (haven’t done it yet but the plan is to have one for Christmas). So we flooded our wedding with vintage nautical touches and plenty of rum. Rock n Roll Bride was the only wedding blog that I read as I planned my wedding. It was from reading what other Rock n Roll Brides had done for their big da... |

I hope everyone had a lovely, long holiday weekend! The summer is coming to an end (far too quickly if you ask me) and I thought some nautical wedding inspiration would be the perfect way to top it off. An expected red and blue palette is a must – and a little gold here and there adds a nice touch and brightens things up a bit. Boats, anchors and the like can also be incorporated in a subtle way without going, uh, overboard. Check out these posts I’ve done in the past for more nautical inspiration… here and here. - candice Featured Design: Paris Invitation Photo Credits: left column Bri... |
I am really excited about how these invitations came out. They were a real collaborative effort between myself, the bride, groom, & even Rich! The bride & groom came to me with a very clear idea of what they wanted. They gave me a brochure for New Bedford, Massachusetts {where the wedding is going to be} which included a vintage street map of the town. They wanted a vintage & nautical feel to their invitations to set the tone of the day. I love the use of the banner & scroll in this design. The registration was super tight between the deep red banner &... |

Hope you like it as much as I do :) Sweet Creations: Tailored Sweets Photographer: Siegel Thurston Photography Designer: Events + Style Flowers: Camellia Wedding Flowers Rentals:White Wedding Day Events Signage: Tiny Twig ... |
Be still my nautical-lovin’ heart. Not only does this engagement session by Lauren Gabrielle Photography zone in on my love (borderline obsession) for all things ship and sea, but they also went all adorable vintage on me, and that my friends is what really did me in.
