I know you’ve seen a few sneaks of our desert shoot, but Victor Sizemore recently sent over his favorite shots from his mentor session that I styled, and you’ve just got to see more! I’m not only completely obsessed with our too-hot-for-words models, but also with Victor‘s work. Despite the consistent backgrounds, each image is unique and jaw dropping! From the stylist perspective, this project was a HUGE undertaking. We’ve got rugs, living room furniture, an obnoxiously large coffee table (which at one point was under threat of a saw per its over-sized legs), antique chairs, a ladde... |
Photographer Victor Sizemore is hosting his second annual Mentor Session this year at WPPI. Last year’s was a raging success: Well, he’s upping the game this year! I am so incredibly thrilled that he’s brought me on board to style this year’s session. We’re going to take it to a whole new level! Here’s a little sneak peek of our inspiration: Spaces are limited, so make it quick! This will be an incredible chance to capture some really stunning images, so if you’re a photographer, definitely consider making it a part of your WPPI experience. Pure romance. I’m a total sucker for it, and that is just what this Pelican Hill wedding is – pure, glamourous and chic, romance. I’m not sure if it’s all the soft pink, all the amazing little moments from Details Details & White Lilac Inc., the romantic lighting of the photos from Victor Sizemore Photography, or that custom gown, but whatever it is, I’m eating it up with a spoon. Soak up all the dreamy love from this wedding, and then meet me in the gallery, where there is even more, if you can believe it. I met Jack Memorial Day weekend, in Austin, TX 2002. His frater... |

Welcome back to our Ultimate Southern Mason Jar finalist series! All I have to say about this next entry is, who knew barbecue could be so cute?! Stylist Carlee Sizemore and photographer Leslie Kerrigan did such a great job with this cheery set-up. Read on for all of the details behind their barbeque bar concept! From Carlee + Leslie: “We loved the idea of setting up a Southern BBQ Bar and serving the ‘que in individual Mason jars. Whether you use the traditional pulled pork BBQ, chicken or beef brisket (we love Texas style BBQ, too!), we think guests will love being a... |
My darling friend Lauryl Lane is a botanical stylist and long ago became my friend mostly because I was obsessed with her floral design skills. She’s just recently moved her business from L.A. (saddest day ever) to Denver (happy happy Colorado lovers!). So you’ll either be celebrating or mourning with me, while we check out this gorgeous BALLROOM (hello my ballroom brides…we’re on the hunt for ya! I promise) wedding shot by Victor Sizemore. Love it all! Especially that striped ribbon on the bouquets and centerpieces. Too cute! Photography: Victor Sizemore | ... |
Today, I'll be sharing with you a Real Engagement session and a Real Wedding. First up is the engagement session of Elizabeth and Christian, photographed by Victor Sizemore from California. They first started at the Viceroy in Santa Monica, then moved onto the Hollywood Hills and finished up at the Griffith Observatory. Elizabeth was ultra fashionable with her 2 Betsy Johnson dresses and coordinating Jimmy Choo's. All of these shots are amazing - I'm loving the backdrops in each one and the silhouette photo is definitely one of my favorites.Thank you to Victor of Victor C. Sizemore Photography... |
