One of my favorite parts of planning my vow renewal has been picking my rentals! Today we had the chance to stop by We Rent Atlanta to work with Glen. Here are some of my pieces. Charger: China: Flatware: Old-fashioneds (these are actually stemless wine glasses, I just adored the shape!): Water, white wine (red matches), soda, and pilsner: Fun huh? I mixed and matched from several different sets to achieve the combination of looks that I liked. Have you picked your rentals? Did you have as much fun as I did? E. ... |
This year’s collection has been slowly popping up in various events across the nation; anywhere from Conventions and Tradeshows to magazine covers and photoshoots. We would like to finally introduce some of them properly and want to start with a show stopper called the Annette. This linen is one of the most delicate fabrics we’ve ever worked with but yet, it’s also one of the most beautiful. It’s made out of tiny sequin that are hand sewn on a transparent mesh fabric. They currently come in 90″SQ overlays and 132″ rounds. Morgan Doan of Morgan E... |
(Images from WildflowerLinens.com)Wildflower Linens, one of the nations top special event linen rental businesses, invited us to visit their showroom in Los Angeles and from the moment we stepped through their doors we were nothing short of blown away! Young Martin, Wildflower's owner, began her career as a fashion designer. When she transitioned her work into tabletop linens she truly transformed the industry. Young approaches her linen designs just as she would fashion. Each season brings a new collection with a theme, a color palette and a visual cohesiveness. She incorporates the highe... |
Typically when we meet with Brides, the last thing on their mind is table linens. Yes… there is a lot that needs to get booked, but please don’t forget the linens. One of the greatest ways to wow your guests at your wedding is to add special touches to each of the tables in your pre-wedding dinner party, soiree or reception is simply by your selection of table linens. By adding these essential elements like customized table linen rentals to each of the guests’ tables, you will be contributing to the memories by visual appeal and last impression after your wedding. One of the most dazzli... |
Many people are attracted to the texture of burlap, and it's neutral color makes it very flexible and easy to incorporate. Here's a table we have set up in our showroom incorporating burlap. We currently offer burlap table runners only. The table-runner is an economical way to incorporate burlap, and as you can see from the picture, using a runner provides the opportunity for nice contrast and use of colors. It's shown here with a light olive table cloth, coral napkins, mahogany Chiavari chairs and succulent centerpieces. Succulents are a great compliment to burlap... we can do thes... |
A few weeks ago when I wrote the (awesome!) 3 part series on venues in LA, in Part II on off-site venues I promised I'd devote an entire blog to the beast that is rentals. This blog even bores me, but I made a promise, so here's some reading if you have insomnia. If you have rented an off-site venue to hold your wedding, you more than likely have to bring everything you need for an event in: tables, chairs, linens, napkins, flatware, glassware, etc. Some bare bones venues don't even have a kitchen and so the catering company has to build one on site. Most catering companies don't just ow... |
New Communal and Buffet/ Dining tables now offered by Classic Party Rentals and Designer 8. We think they would be great paired with some cool Chameleon barstools. They would also be perfect to use for food stations or candy stations or as a fun alternative to the standard belly bar during cocktail hour. Get your imagination going, create something different and extraordinary for your special day!!... |
I love vintage or antique anything, and that’s why I’m loving Found Vintage Rentals. They are a rental company for weddings and private events and they have so many cute vintage props, tables, chairs and accesories that you create that “Anthropologie” look for your wedding day with ease. I love a good farmhouse table and they have a bunch to choose from. Not to mention suitcases, a great prop for photo booths, welcome tables or the seating card table. Oh yes, and they have vintage containers and old glass which I’m totally obsessed with. Check out their inventory here. Happy desig... |
I recently had the chance to visit the team at Party Rental, Ltd at their open house in New York City! They were showing off some fun new pieces in their collection — many of which will be making appearances at fashionable parties over the next few months. This is where the trends start! I like working with Party Rental since they have everything you could ever want for a wedding, plus their DC-area sales reps are super friendly and reliable. These fun patterned prints would be great for a preppy summer wedding: The blue chargers, napkins and glassware really coordinate well with this c... |
Being a vintage junkie I couldn’t be more happy that vintage inspirations in wedding and event design seem to be here to stay! One of the more recent vintage elements that can be seen throughout weddings today are vintage furniture pieces. While some people may be collectors or have pieces that they can borrow from a friend or family member, others may see a small desk that features favors or a rustic farm table for a dessert buffet or a fun vintage sofa perfect for their pictures that they dream of creating but don’t know how to go about finding these key pieces. Thanks to this trend, v... |
