Elyse Walker is one of those boutiques where you could close your eyes and grab something off of the shelf and you would most certainly adore it. Imagine a boutique filled with beautiful clothes that are both timeless and flattering. The shop is in Pacific Palisades - away from the crowds of Santa Monica and Beverly Hills on charming Antioch Street. In addition to stunning clothes they carry wonderful accessories and phenomenal shoes. Many of my clients prefer to shop here more than anyplace else in all of L. A.... |

I’m pretty sure if I was still planning my own nuptials, Walker and Scott’s gorgeous Sonoma winery wedding would be at the top of my inspiration list. Reflecting the couple’s love of wine country, the event was fresh, elegant, and romantic. Stunning roses, hydrangeas, and orchids decorated Mayacama in a palette of soft peaches, creams, and bright greens. Guests dined under olive trees that were dotted with sparkly hanging votives as the sun set. Such an incredible wedding and I’m so excited to share these gorgeous photos by Julie Mikos with you! Sometimes I forget what I share on Facebook and what I share on my blog - apparently I missed announcing some GIGANTIC NEW... Clara took her first steps! AND I was there to see it! She was having her picture taken at our photographers home. I had (finally?) dressed her in the tutu that I purchased 6 months ago (tutus are something I have wanted to talk about...maybe soon.). Poor thing was miserable. Don't know if it was the tutu, or the strangers around (our photographer has three of the sweetest little girls ever...they all kept trying so hard to make Clara ... |
When I first read that this uber-stunning Augusta wedding was held at a private residence, my heart sank just a little, because I so want to go there. Lucky for me (and you), Jenna Walker Photographers was there to capture every single amazing moment and we have all day to bask in the gorgeousness of it all. And, trust me, there is a lot of pretty to see. A sophisticated color palette plus beautiful florals and a wedding cake that looks too good to eat all equals a traditional Southern fête of epic proportions. And I am in love. I have a serious soft spot for those Colorado Rockies and an even softer spot for couples that totally embrace whatever their big day may bring… including rain and snow. This couple got a little of both. With smiles and umbrellas (and the cutest no crying banners) they marched down the aisle on a cool Colorado morning giggling at Mother Nature along the way. Jenna Walker Photographers captured this couple’s snow-filled I do’s to perfection and if you ask us, the weather just makes everything that much more dreamy.
