Tulle is familiar because its the standard material for bridal veils. But did you know it comes in lighter versions and is used in bouffant skirts. The one pictured above proffers that ballerina look Vera Wang popularized a few years back? While the big tulle skirt is classic, edgier versions of late suggest special effects like draping, ruching and pick-up treatments over more modified skirt silho... |

While I was browsing the blogs I read, I came across one that did a word cloud for a client. They listed the website and I decided to check it out. Here is what I came up with for Something Classic Events. I thought it was pretty neat. Then I got to thinking...how cool would it be to do one for a wedding? You could put your wedding date in it and some words that describe you as a couple, then you could make a big picture and have your guests sign it as a guest book! I love the idea and wish I would have found it sooner. I totally would have done this for my wedding. The website is wordle.net . ... |

On Cloud 9. That is what I was the entire time I worked on this project with these amazing talents. I’ve always daydreamed of creating an all white event. Add some crafty fun, and it really was a dream come true. We made felt clouds stuffed with poly-fill, and lined the aisle with fluffy poly-fill to create a “walking on a cloud” feel. I only wish there was a real wedding occuring after this photo shoot. Deepest thanks to the Utterly Engaged team for inviting me to participate in the AMAZING issue 014. Go see it HEREEEEEEEEEEE. Happy Monday! I’m writing to you from San Francisco! We just attended Fizz and Frills and now Bry and I are taking a couple days to soak in all the Golden Gate has to offer. I thought I’d start you off this handmade Oregon wedding that has me going pitter patter. The details are quite simple, but just as lovely. If you are all about these, just wait until later today…we’ve got a crazy rad idea that I’m dying to share. But first things first. Here are the lovely Josh and Bri Cloud, shot by Trever Hoehne, who normally doesn’t shoot weddings, but every once in a while, he makes an exc... |
