In my books, the definition of a rustic wedding is blurry and that fact is delightful. There are a million different ways you can pump out an amazing rustic wedding and as of late there has been a gentle rise in weddings that are pretty, dainty, vintage – with a slight rustic edge. And it’s melting us to pieces. The adorable wedding we’re featuring today, that we scored from the hands of the ever-so-talented ladies of Simply Bloom, falls into this wonderful non-category. It’s perfectly pretty and rustic all wrapped up with a pretty pink bow. Almost literally! The soft muted pink ... |
A few weeks ago Tara blogged about The Enchanted Barn (picture above), and since then I've seen several pictures that make me think of the barn and how I would plan a wedding in it. Yes, I might be slightly crazy, but it's just so charming and there are so many possibilities! So when I picked up the a copy of Chicago Style Weddings, I had to share these pictures. I think all of this decor would just go perfectly in that barn, with candles covering every last inch.Who wants to start planning this wedding?? I'll help you :)... |

This is one of the loveliest silhouettes ever spotted! This rustic wedding cake with bride and groom silhouette is simple + sweet. The couple opted for fresh flowers in lieu of a cake topper to emphasize the silhouette as its focal point. The cake also features pretty pearl piping along the four tiers with gold and silver candy confetti pieces sprinkled throughout. The wooden cake stand complements the rustic wedding theme used throughout the decor perfectly. spotted via style me pretty / photographed by three nails photographyI hope each of you were spoiled by the Easter Bunny and ate pl... |
