Over the years I've worked with so many talented wedding cake bakers, and one of my favorites is Ron Ben Israel. We met years ago, while creating a cake for our very first issue! His great style, innovative ideas, and overall fabulousness always inspires me, and his sugar flowers are unbelievable. So I asked him to answer a few questions here on the Bride's Guide. Hopefully you had a chance to devour all the deliciousness that was this morning’s post. Pretty doesn’t even begin to describe the images of all the gorgeous Ron Ben-Israel cakes the ladies of Belathée sent over. Lucky for all of us, the cake-fest isn’t over. The folks at Ron Ben-Israel Cakes were feeling a bit generous and passed along Ron’s very own vanilla cake recipe and a few tips of the trade. I don’t know if I am worthy, but I do know I am book marking this post for sure. Thanks to everyone at Ron Ben-Israel for sharing all this goodness with us today! xoxo, A. Blaire Bela... |

The cakes that come out of Ron Ben-Israel are nothing short of art, and knowing such fabulously personable... |
