E and I were discussing the pros and cons of having a red wedding. For me, the pros (looks fabulous on brunettes, favorite color) outweigh the cons (hello, Christmas theme anyone?). I was happy to find this article on Martha Stewart. It suggests using it for a summer theme. I’m sure you could adapt for any season. I also found several red invites on KenzieKate Invitations. My favorite is the first invite on the left, bottom row. And finally, don’t forget the easiest way to indulge in red. The bridesmaids! The left and middle dresses are from JCrew, right dress is from Nicole Miller. ... |

How much fun is a Vintage Circus Birthday Party? I think it’s one of the neatest party themes because it fits for gender neutral parties as well as a variety of age ranges! We have showcased a lot of circus parties, but I couldn’t help but share this darling one designed by I Do Invitations by Michelle. I love the paper signs and cupcake toppers! Something else I LOVE? Serving strawberries! Every party should have some sugar, but I think more and more parents are finding clever ways to sneak in fruits + veggies as well. I also adore the animal cracker bear that Michelle purchased and deco... |

Since Jennifer told me her color combination - blue and red - I've been anticipating these invitations. When we first talked about it, she said she wanted red backing with white invitation printed with blue accents. But white really isn't in her color combination and, to me, adding white makes the invitations patriotic. So I did aqua blue invitations printed in all red. They turned out stunning. Each part becomes another surprise. Starting with the dark red envelope with swirls, the aqua blue envelope liner, and then the three pieces of aqua printed with red. Thanks for going on the cr... |

"Beautiful, serene photos in a grayish pinkish palette. And writing. The writing seems to be aqua, purple, with flashes of red. But that's just me."LPC. September 13th 2009I think that this is the nicest thing anyone has ever written about this blog. In fact I kind of want to delete all of the posts and just put that up instead. But that would be reckless. Please visit this post on Privilege to read what LPC has to say about the blogs she is obsessed with.
