Have you guys seen these? I saw them for the first time today while shopping & they are pretty neat. Now this goes against everything I believe in, being that I am totally anti-Pepsi, but not only did I look at them, I wanted to figure out what they meant by "throwback." The design? Well, sorta. They're calling it a "throwback" because they are using real sugar instead of high-fructose corn syrup. (What about that commercial with the kool-aid and popsicles that said high-fructose corn syrup wasn't bad for you?) Anywho, you win Pepsi. I came, I saw, I blogged and I liked your designs. What ... |
I just can't get enough of their photography! I saw this photo on Simply Bloom's blog and just about died. The photography is beautiful and seriously, I. LOVE. COKE. (No - not Pepsi - don't even think about it!) The retro feel of this photo fits perfectly with the Coca-Cola brand - makes me want to twist open a glass bottle of the good stuff. Aaaah, refreshing!... |
I’d been dying to work with Krystel since we met at a local bridal expo earlier this year. Her enthusiasm for weddings and style are infectious and as a photographer and lover of all things visual, combining the two can be very exciting. When she approached me with the idea of running a contest to give away a styled engagement session to a lucky couple I couldn’t say no…such a brilliant idea! 6 couples entered the contest and unfortunately only 1 could win (well, we actually gave the 2nd place couple a session as well and more on that later). But here is where we meet the winne... |
It was a busy week for video game console cakes. First we created three Nintendo DSi cakes for Nintendo. We then followed that up with this Sony Playstation cake complete with a split soda and blackberry. Here’s a quick video to give you a complete view of the cake: Eric left us a great comment about the cake. Thanks Eric!! I am the proud owner (or was the proud owner) of this cake and I am still amazed at the level of detail Pink Cake Box put into this cake. Those who know me will understand why there is a Blackberry pearl and a Pepsi can soda sitting beside the PS3; these are three t... |
While Christmas might be the last thing on everyone's mind during these warm summer months, Mint Julep Social Events is immersed in the holiday spirit. Oakley approached us a few months ago and asked if we'd be willing to coordinate their sponsorship day in a massive charity called Snowball Express. This heartwarming event gives children of fallen soldiers a fun-filled vacation where they can bond with families in similar situations and enjoy a spirited week of activities, entertainment, and a chance to just be kids. Major sponsors such as Pepsi, Disney, and American Airlines are contributing ... |

We love modern details on sweet southern backdrops. {Blue Nalu} shot these great details from Jason and Kate's recent NC fete. From Blue Nalu: "We spent this weekend in New Bern, NC capturing Jason and Kate’s wedding. We found out New Bern’s claim to fame is that Pepsi was invented here in 1898 (actually on the street corner next to where Jason and Kate tied the knot.) We had great weather on Saturday for their wedding and Friday for their {e-session}. Their reception took place waterfront at the New Bern Golf and Country Club where the band “Sugar” got everyone rockin’. O... |
