I’ve noticed quite a few brides have been incorporating peacock feathers in their wedding decor recently. Peacock feathers have such a distinctive look, they can easily become an overwhelming element if they’re not used carefully. I think it would be lovely if a wedding is inspired by the rich colors and luxe feel of peacock feathers while the actual feathers are only used sparingly. We’ve observed that more and more brides opt for peacock feathers as insertions in the décor of their weddings. We’re for this decision and we’re glad that we jump from faded colors to complex and complete schemes. But sometimes what’s too much it’s enough and the same brides that haven’t applied for a change risk getting in the same unpleasant point- a wedding with too many details, similar to the others and even tiring in the same time. In order to help you, we’ve included a scheme of colors that exemplified for adding peacock feathers in the décor of the wedding and withou...

  • I hate to break it to you all but..it’s December. Yup, in Canada, we mind as well curl up in a ball, eat a pound of toblerone chocolate and hibernate till spring. But thank goodness for today’s rustic Tacoma, Washington wedding.  Full of rustic wedding inspiration reminiscent of the warmer days of fall.   A healthy dose of peacock feathers never hurt anyone (I really hope it doesn’t hurt the peacocks!).  I’m loving the pops of purple from this wedding and all the details and shutter candy brought to us by wedding photographer Abbey Hepner.  There is a heck of a lot of photography ...

Looking for a way to add some extra elegance to your day? Take a cue from Christine and Hugo who used a peacock inspiration for their outdoor vows in Mayfield Park, TX.                         Photo: SMS Photography The peacock feathers added an earthy and ethereal touch to their centerpieces.  The low centerpieces may seem organic and ordinary at first glance. The homemade mason jars are filled halfway with water and lined with pebbles. Blooms in blue, green, brown, and white make the arrangement look beautiful and au naturel. The spray of wildflowers shoots in every ...

The invitation is designed to come out of the gatefold with the inserts held inside with ribbon. The accommodations card has a feather design in the peacock blue and green colors. The rsvp card and envelopes also have the same feather design. And the outer envelopes just wouldn't have been the same without a feather stamp and design that drapes over...

I’ve always loved Peacocks and their beautifully colored feathers. I think the look is timeless and I don’t think I could ever get sick of seeing peacock feather inspiration. I am actually incorporating a slight peacock feather touch to an event I am currently working on. When the feathers are added with deep purple, I think it adds even more depth and character. Peacock feathers look great as a bouquet as well and that could be a great option if would like to save money on your florals.
