I love the idea of offering late night snacks! The idea is fun and memorable for your guests as they eat little snacks that you and your fiancee' adore or that are representive of the city in which you were married. The idea is to have them served or displayed an hour-to-an hour and half prior to the end of the reception. Guests will either eat their treat there or package to take home. Try some of these on for "bite-size"... Until next time...WEDologize! Whenever I go to a wedding I go as both a guest and a weddings editor. It’s hard not to look at everything and think how I can turn the details of this particular wedding into a blog post. And that’s where this post came from - the wedding I went to in California in 2007.Dave and I got there a little early to take some photos with friends, and some how we ended up in the room the bridal party was getting ready/hanging out in. It was a rather large room with couches and tables and chairs, and scattered throughout were bottles of beer and water as well as bags of pretzels and chips.I don’t... |
Check out this fantastic detail from Gourmet Invitations. It would be perfect to place on each guest’s bed when they arrive back after the wedding – along with some late-night munchies and water. What a great idea! ... |
In other words…munchies. So you know that point in the night, after drinking one too many…well, you’re not really sure what the last one was, and you’re feeling an overwhelming need to gorge….well, this is when you break out the late night snacks. In the case of an afternoon wedding (in which you know is going to feed into the evening) it might be a good idea to refuel your attendees. Okay, maybe not, but you will make them really happy. Make sure these munchies are bite-sized to avoid spillage. Examples: Pesto Quesadillas (cut into triangular pieces for easy eating), mini sliders... |
The champagne has been flowing all evening and you’re still in the mood to dance the night away. Why stop the party when the wedding is over? The Breakers Palm Beach can create the absolute perfect After Hour’s Celebration just for you! From lounge style seating to “late night munchies” (think “Mini” Grilled Cheeses and “Mini” Philly Chicken Cheese Steaks!) the party will keep going through the late night hours creating a truly memorable (and VERY fun) experience for you and your guests. Pink, black, and GLAM was the theme of the successful launch party of Risqué- a boudoir photography company. As you can see from the detail shots below it was a party with class and a little sass- I personally enjoy those best. There was plenty of champagne, chocolate, and munchies to go around as everyone enjoyed looking at the beautiful portraits done by Meredith Wullkotte, founded of Risqué, as well as beautiful floral designs and balloons by D&Q Design. *Photography by Shannon Wright Photography Here's to many more successful events and photo shoots to come. ~Jaimi ... |
