I came across the wedding of Caroline & Clark on the blog Snippet & Ink and fell in love with their photos. Their photographer, A Bryan Photo, did an amazing job capturing the true emotions of the day. One photo in particular that stood out showed the groom the moment he caught sight of his bride at the end of the isle. Magic. LOVE! Posted by Emilie Harrison... |
I made a couple of new cake pop designs recently. Both for Disney, both blue. One old and one new. Here are some Cake Pop Sorcerer’s Hats inspired by the 1940 Disney classic animated film, Fantasia. From such a long time ago, but still so recognizable – even in candy. These cone-shaped cake balls are the same shape I used to make these Christmas Cake Pops. I love how simple shapes can transform into so many different themes… … and by using a different color candy coating and moldable candy, you can transform the shapes into Mickey’s magical hat. I have received some really sweet and encouraging responses about the hair pieces, and I didn't want you guys to think that I've left you hanging!Adios, mis amigos! And PS--Head on over to Once Wed to see a quick feature Emily posted of my hair accessories! So, so sweet.... |
especially when it’s Martha Stewart’s Wedding Blog!! I was so so super excited when Yifat Oren gave me the word that Kristina & Jesse’s Wyoming wedding invitations were shown by Martha this morning. HOORAY! I felt like Tiny Pine Press hit the wedding blog jackpot!! I love this invitation. It’s classic Tiny Pine. I mean, there are pine needle clusters stitched on every invitation. Can you get more piney? The save the dates were also one of my favorites… with the tinted photograph of the property delivered to the guests, giving them just a peek at where they would be traveling to.... |
Today is what would have been one of my good friends 23rd Birthday. His name was Jonathan "JJ" Wooden Sandifer and he past away February of 2008. We will be celebrating his birth tonight in San Diego with a few of his brothers. He was too much of a personality to be able to describe him right but he really was the best. One of the things he said and I loved the best was "Why can't I just be? Why can't I just live?". That was him. He rolled with everything and had the highest goals out of everyone I knew. And being my boyfriend's(now husband) best friend we got to spend a lot of time together a... |
we maryland/dc natives have a special connection with cherry blossoms. at peak, the blossoms cover the streets of many neighborhoods in a textured umbrella of what looks like magical multicolored snow. and then at a certain point the wind blows and the petals fill the air. last week i was in washington and was instantly transported back in time as i looked up to the sky obscured by the blossoms. ... |
holiday party supplies from PartyMart - lovin' this inflatable reindeer (only $3.50!)It's the most wonderful time of the year....in my book. I love the holidays....the sparkle...the merriment...the food...the decor...the gatherings! There always seems to be a certain magic to Christmas...or Holiday...or Festivus parties...don't you think?Tommy and I went to an ugly holiday sweater party (It was a Festivus for the Rest of Us Party) a several years ago that was really funny. There is just something surprisingly awesome about a dude wearing a grandma sweater with a giant reindee... |
