I thought it would be fitting to post a few street shots I took on a little trip to London earlier this month. The city was abuzz with preparations for the wedding of Wills and Kate and I had a fantastic time. Happy Royal Wedding Week!Love this last one riding in the rain on the train. Photographed with my Rolleiflex and a Canon AE1. ps. If you're attending our royal wedding party, you'll be receiving a fine art print set of my London photographs.... |

Fareen & Saadi picked Battersea Park in London for their pre wedding engagement session. It really is the perfect location in London as it doesn’t have the hoards of tourists like Hyde Park. I loved the gorgeous light of the late afternoon to early evening. We cannot wait to shoot their wedding at Botleys Mansion in July. ... |
My wonderful friend Marianne Taylor emailed me excitedly the other day to let me know she had just shot a wedding that she knew I would love…and oh do I!? Aren’t those portraits just phenomenal? And don’t even get me started on the shots of Caroline and her floaty-light dress at the end! “I’m so happy to finally be able to blog about Caroline & Ben’s beautiful London wedding. There are so many things I loved about this wedding, from Caroline’s stunning Jenny Packham gown and headpiece, to the gorgeous Market Suite at the Fox & Anchor where Caroline and the girls were get... |
Find your photographer through Rock n Roll Bride then it’s pretty much a given that I’m going to totally love your wedding and wedding photography! That’s exactly what Carolyn & Marc did and yep, I was right – stunning! The couple got married right in the centre of London – ‘The City’ as it’s known. I love this part of town. My Dad works around here so I have fond memories of visiting him at his office when I was younger, marvelling at the huge and modern nature of landmarks like The Gherkin and The Lloyds Building vs. the ornate detail of the indoor Leadenhall Market (wh... |
There is something about a London wedding that’s like no other anywhere in the world, not even elsewhere in the UK. I’m not talking about the obvious landmarks or the swanky London hotels, it’s more of a feeling about the place - the lighting, the crispness in the air…the rain! Agata and Stefan, although not British (she is from Poland, he from Bavaria) did have a quintessential London Wedding - from her dress by British designer Jenny Packham to their transport on a traditional red London bus (supplied by This Bus) to their swanky, intimate reception at Claridges…the whole thing... |
London is one of our favorite cities to visit whenever the busy event schedule permits such brief escapes!  A wonderously cool place to escape to in the steamy summer months, London is perfect for long walks through charming historic streets, reflective interludes in hidden gardens and interesting shared meals in modern restaurants. With each visit to London, we look for new, exciting sections of the city to spend time in; if only to better explore the realities of everyday London life away from the touristy areas.  This time, we chose to stay in the trendy and hip (without being embara... |
Location, location, location. Sometimes the best locations are places we have to travel to, but if time and money do not permit, why not let the location come to you?Case in point? The London West Hollywood - a little slice of modern English luxury in the heart of Los Angeles. If you're looking for a place to host a fabulous brunch or engagement dinner look no further than Gordon Ramsay at The London. This Michelin starred chef cooks up an extraordinarily delicious and affordable three course brunch for only $45. And let's not forget to mention the beautiful decor of pastel pinks and blu... |
Loyal reader Emily mentioned (correctly, I might add) that I have been incredibly lax about posting in our honeymoon series! Could it have really been four months since we’ve traveled together, readers? To make up for my complete lack of conscientiousness, this post is just for Emily, who is honeymooning in Paris and London (my two favorite cities in the world)! {Europe by Air, Westminster.gov, Richard Seaman} There are so many places in London you MUST see that I absolutely recommend at least a week of solid touring - more if you don’t like to pack it in while you’re on vacation. ... |
