For this design, the bride asked me to put a new spin on the color palette. And so...off I went to the drawing board. In my design, I tried to focus on incorporating multiple patterns and textures in order to add unexpected interest. The groomsmen wore checkered ties, and had quirky patterned socks on. Inspiration Board # 124: Latte & Light Pink{Latte & Light Pink} Soft, pretty and very feminine -this palette is simply sweet. Bridesmaids wore a lovely almond shade that made for a subtle contrast to the pink bouquets. Vintage lace was incorporated throughout the day, and gave the space a sense of elegance. The bride carried pink peonies and wore a lovely vintage lace dress. Centerpieces of pink roses were designed in square vases and a signature drink was the talk of this reception. Light Pink Dogwood Wedding CakePink Dogwood Wedding Cake This weekend we delivered this three tier wedding cake to the Sunny Palace in East Brunswick NJ. The entire cake is covered in quilted ivory fondant with a scattering of dogwood blossoms. The blossoms vary in shades of pink from light to fuchsia. White piped pearls decorate each tier. Flavors and fillings included red velvet with cream cheese and vanilla with chocolate and hazlenut buttercream.
