So I went to Kleinfelds to try on dresses and I must admit I was a little dissapointed with the experience! I had heard that it is like a "factory" and I would have to agree. I did not feel like the consultant that I worked with was focused on me, instead she was running around calling other clients back in the middle of my appointment. Granted it was a bit more hectic because of the trunk show, however I don't think that excuses the behavior. On a good note, I was able to see all of the new Monique Lhuillier designs and they were amazing!!!! If you are looking for a dress and like her de...

It's already spring time in Manhattan.  This was the scene at Kleinfeld Manhattan for Priscilla Troy's trunk show featuring her magnificent collection of vintage and reproduction parasols. Priscilla has such a stunning array of these chic little props with the most intricate detailing I've ever seen, some with lace dating back to the 1890s.   When constructed in silk fabric instead of paper, the parasols last and make beautiful keepsakes to pass on. Her collection has not only more functional products out of linen and cotton but deacquisitione...

  • By Anne Chertoff For the past few weeks, we’ve asked bridal salons from around the country to share their favorite hot-off-the-runway looks from the most recent Bridal Market. Filed under: Wedding News Courtesy of Kleinfeld Location, location, location. For 60 years, the location was Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, for bridal superstore Kleinfeld Bridal. The wedding-gown giant decided to move its operations to a 35,000-square-foot space in Manhattan's Chelsea district in 2005. According to Kleinfeld co-owner Ronald Rothstein, the company had been looking for larger space to accommodate its expanding business, and to continue its tradition of individualized attention that is Kleinfeld's signature. The group looked in Brooklyn, but decided it was time to head to New York, New Y...
