I am SO glad I am not alone in my love for stripes. If you put stripes on a skirt, purse, wall, or really any inanimate object I am automatically smitten. This lovely bride, with fabulous taste I might add, has the same affinity for all things striped and decided to make it a central design theme for their wedding – and for that alone, I love her. This creative duo joined forces and DIY-ed the heck out of this affair, and you can see all of the fabulousness captured by 1. Art Beauty Life : Jenny Ebert Photography in the full gallery of images. Jenny Ebert emailed me the most amazing collection of photos from a fall wedding shot on Long Island last year. I was so caught up in her work, I almost missed the end of Project Runway! Take it all in. I love the darker elements that hint at fall, like the red roses and dresses, mixed in with a nod towards summer, seashells and salty air. Every night, before I go to bed, I post on this blog (usually). I read a lot of websites, get a lot of emails, and in general, I know fair deal about wedding related stuff. I can find an adorable bridesmaids gift in no time, cough Etsy. My brain is a-wash in color schemes. And don't even get me started on invitations. That being said, even with all my accumulated knowledge, I go to maybe three weddings a year? Maybe? What would happen if I went to a wedding every weekend? Would I be laden with that many more spectacular ideas? Hmmmmm. I don't want to go to a wedding every weekend. I don't have... |
