Queen of the ball gown, mother of all glamour, Ines Di Santo has just shown her latest collection on the runways of NYC.  All always, the drama, the sparkle, and the grandeur of her gowns do not disappoint.  We saw sweetheart necklines, one shoulder modern twists on classic silouettes, and layers of delicate fabric beaded to perfection. Ines is known for putting a little flair at the hip, fitted in the bodice while big and grand at the base of the gown.  And we love a little pink surprise down the aisle, Ines finds a way to work in a little blush pink from time to time and this dress is o...

Inspired by the diamond, her Spring 2010 collection was dramatic from start to finish.  Hosted at the Jeremiah Essex House in a sumptuous ballroom, the lights dimmed and “Diamonds are Forever” launched the soundtrack of the show. Gowns encrusted with jewels, lush draping, dazzling bead work, full skirts, and whimsical ruffles marched down the runway, all perfect for a bride-to-be channeling her inner duchess who wants to make an entrance! • Nothing short of extraordinary, Ines Di Santo’s collections are filled with gowns made for making an entrance. For her Spring 2011 collection, Ines Di Santo was “inspired by the gardens of one of the world’s most romantic cities, captivated by dreamy images of women gliding through Paris’s gardens.” While watching the show, having never been to Paris (sad, I know), all I could think of was one of my favorite musicals, My Fair Lady. In the film adaptation, a woman is utterly transformed from ordinary to royalty by wearing striking, enchanting gowns (and from lots and lots of elocuti...

Filed under: Wedding Dresses Ines Di Santo DESIGNER: Ines Di Santo DRESS DETAILS: Sweetheart neckline cameo pink sheath with Alençon lace overlay and reembroidered florettes. WHY WE LOVE IT: This season, many designers traded in the typical white gown and added splashes of color. If you are looking to take a risk but aren't ready for the lime green wedding gown, this light pink shade is a perfect option. The lace over the pink sheath creates a softer feel, allowing the color to peek out in just the right places. WHERE TO WEAR IT: In a large ballroom with crystal chandeliers. FIGURE FLA...
