Grey is the numbero uno color to hit the fashion scene this spring. Did I say color? Yes, you heard right, grey is a color rather than a neutral. From the pale greys to greige--that almost identical blend of grey and brown-- there's a grey for everyone. Especially complimentary when paired up with yellow . . . ... |
This is an inspiration board I put together. I’ve always loved grey and yellow together… and I knew it was “all the rage” this year for weddings, but little did I know that it would actually inspire ME! Guess I’m smarter than I thought. I’ve decided to have a kiiiiinda color scheme. Invites and all paper goods will be grey, orange & yellow, and teal. There will be teal accents at the wedding itself; but flowers will be a mixed bag of all sorts of bright colors. What do you think? I know most people love the weekends, but I REALLY love them. It’s not that I don’t love my job (I do!!!), it’s just that there were several years (like, literally consecutive YEARS) where Mayra and I worked each and every single weekend, often for weeks at a time with no days off. It’s all part of building a business, and we learned and grew a lot during those years. So, when we started to have weekends again, I began to cherish them, CHERISH, with all caps intended. One of the things that I love to do on the weekends is to get my nails done. Friday af... |

I’m starting the week off with something a little simple, yet no less stunning. I’m so inspired by the grey bridesmaid dress shot by Stephanie Williams. It got me thinking I always appreciate when brides take great care to choose a bridesmaid dress that really is special and worth featuring. Sources: 1. Stephanie Williams 2. Design Lovely 3. Growing up in Florida, scarves weren't really in my wardrobe. Truth be told, after moving North, I felt like a bit of a poser wearing them. {What's wrong with me, right?} Well, years later I've more than embraced the scarf and happily create little outfits around them. A lazy Sunday felt like a perfect place to create one here. I hope you like it! luv, Kimberly 1. Pond Lily Scarf, 2. Ruffled Celosia Cardigan, 3. Yellow Leather Flower Ring, 4.
