I have to give kudos to Stephanie Fay Photography for these real wedding inspiration and images. As you can guess, I love and, well, am obsessed with all styles of weddings, but right now I am dreaming of sunshine and happy warm breezes. This backdrop of a DIY wood frame and bright yellow dresser accented with perfect flowers made me want to plan another wedding for myself! I had to share. Thanks bvweddings for featuring the lovely post that inspired this one....

Our grandparents and parents were seated to Ave Maria and Canon in D. The Trumpet Voluntary played as I walked down the aisle.  Although I was calm all morning, I got very nervous when I saw all of the people in the church.  My dad and I talked the entire way down the aisle and I will never forget the look on Matt’s face when he saw me. Matt and I snuck away after the ceremony for a moment alone… I love that the photographer caught these shots… *photos by 502 Photography © Elizabeth Anne Designs: The Wedding Blog, 2009 | Permalink | 1 comment | Add to del.icio.us | StumbleUpon I...

After we had finished up taking portraits, everyone, including Charlie, got ready to walk down the aisle!  The Atlanta Woman’s Club had an upstairs room for dressing, which was very useful.  Charlie, our best man, our officiant, our honor attendant, the hubby and I all waited there while our guests arrived.  I’m very much in love with this photo of Charlie in his bow tie! {Jessica Claire} I’m waiting to walk down the aisle in these shots.  They are some of my favorite because you can see some of the most beautiful elements of our venue - the beautiful staircase and the chandeliers.Â...

Hi everyone! (Our venue, the YWCA in Fort Worth!) Today I wanted to talk about the reason we buy the special dress, the reason we throw a celebratory party - the wedding ceremony which will join you in marriage to your fiancee. It’s definitely the most important part of the wedding as a whole, but it’s so easy to get wrapped up in choosing colors, a dress, and registering for all those gifts that you kind of forget about it. It may be that you’re going to have a ceremony that is pretty much planned out, where you only have a few choices or options. But, since we are not getting marr...

{image from Snippet & Ink}Several readers have requested I posted about ceremony details. Truth be told, we really haven't gotten that far which is why there's been a lack of posts on the subject. We do know, for a fact, that a hand ceremony will be involved. I first heard of a hand ceremony on a knot bio and instantly fell in love. If you go to link, you can read more about it.We're planning on sticking to traditional vows and including a few readings. Rather than read our own vows, we'd like to read a passage or poem to one another. We're both still searching for the perfect one. So if yo...

When we got to the ceremony site we were greeted with the most pleasant problem I can imagine—not enough chairs!  The rain had stopped just in time to set up the ceremony outside at the gazebo in the garden, and they hadn’t put out enough chairs for all of our guests.  So we waited while my step-brother ran some more out there, and got through most of our pre-ceremony jitters while our moms pinned flowers on anyone who walked by. images by Karl Knize and Connie Kalsch Once the chair problem was solved our friends lined up, Lynn and I grabbed our birth parents to walk us down the ais...

The inside of the church was decorated simply--only two flower arrangements at the altar, and candelabras down the aisle....
