When I stumbled across this, I just knew I had to share it with you guys! Bleu De Toi has come out with this fun and unique way of remembering the guests at your wedding. This guestbook fingerprint tree can become a lovely keepsake to hang on your wall instead of just some book that sits in a box in your attic. Each woodcut print is hand printed and personalized just for you! The branches are left bare and you can choose the ink colors you want your guests to leave their thumb prints with. I just love this idea! It's different and cute and fun for all of your guests! You cou...

I don't know why this is, but I don't think I've ever posted about guestbooks in all 772 posts I've written on this blog. Huh! These caught my eye because of the gorgeous patterns and affordable prices. They can also be customized to fit your event, size preference and pattern choice. I guess there's a first time for everything! Check out Enji Beck for the deets....

  • I wrote previously in G Is For Guestbook entry (have you read it yet? brush up because the next round of ABCs is coming soon!) and That Painted Guestbook entry about the myriad of options available to collect well wishes from your loved ones. Cathrin of Cathrin D’Entremont Weddings emailed me some lovely new ideas which I hadn’t come across. Have your guests sign rocks or stones, these could be placed in your garden or a vase or pot after the wedding. Would be a great choice for a rustic feel wedding Photo by Ira Lippke Studios I love this one, guests used an ink pad, their fingers and ...

Well, this weekend has been a whirlwind with a big wedding for Darcie Thompson and Kyle Malone! They are now officially Mr. and Mrs. Kyle Malone and it was a blast to be apart of. We'll have pictures for their wedding recap soon, but I wanted to tell you about a fun thing that we planned for them at their wedding. They're such a fun couple and wanted something different, so we had a photobooth that served as something fun for the guests to do and as their guestbook. This isn't the exact look of their photobooth, but the guests had a blast with it! There was a line all night lon...

  • Most couples are opting out of the traditional wedding guestbook for obvious reasons (what do you really do with a book of everyone’s name and/or addresses other than send out thank you cards). So, what is the new trend?  A guestbook photobook of your engagement photos.  Guests sign on a blank page of a book filled with images of you and your fiance. BUT, when I saw this idea last week, I thought this was a fantastic idea! Image courtesy of Jonas Peterson via Earth Friendly Weddings It’s a “Wedding Tree.”  Have each of your guests place their thumbprint somewhere on the tree.  The...

Instead of a traditional guestbook, try this fun and innovative idea from Project Wedding. For this story line 'guestbook' all you need is some card stock cut into the size of a postcard, some colorful markers-maybe in the colors of your wedding, a bowl of clothespins and a short set of instructions.Have your guests write out a favorite memory of you, your spouse or both! Let the laughing, sharing, and story-telling begin! These are great hung up on string for an indoor or outdoor wedding. Have fun!...

Guestbooks are such a staple at weddings. They serve the purpose of seeing who attended your wedding as a guide to sending your thank you's for attending. For years brides have used the standard spiral bound "bridal screaming" guestbook with the lined pages for guests to sign. I personally, along with a lot of other brides today, find that way so boring and non-personalized. I love to encourage my brides to come up with another option to serve as a guestbook, something that will serve a purpose in their decor at home. Something that represents them in their own way. It doesn'...

From Katie: A friend introduced me to these Etsy wonders, which I think are just ingenious. Have you ever seen anything so creative? What a wonderful guest book idea! Not only would this be fun and interactive for your guests, but would serve as a totally unique keepsake and pretty décor for any newlywed abode. The amazingly talented artists at Bleu de Toi (a husband and wife – love that) can customize the tree style, font and ink choices to match your theme and color palette. I’d love to hear your opinion on this creative twist to the classic wedding guest book. Thoughts? Images from Bl...

For the end of our guestbook week, I wanted to share my favorite idea that I have come across. It is so intimate and creative and something you can really keep forever to look back on! And my favorite guestbook idea is... Polaroids!! I absolutely adore the idea of the guests taking a picture of themselves and leaving a little note by it in a book. This creates added fun for your guests and for you when you get to read it! You can do it a couple of different ways. You can set up a table with polaroid cameras for the guests to use and have a book preset with places for the pictures and a space...
