We had the most beautiful wedding flowers on our special day and they were absolutely fabulous. We LOVED everything about them and we couldn’t be any happier with our chosen wedding florist Richard Bragg. He is talented, creative, passionate and super helpful. What I also love is his openness to ideas and willingness to take on board an incorporate my suggestions (yes, I am a little bit of a control freak – I prepared sketches in 2D and 3D, sent tons of photos of styles I wanted, and I am sure RB can say a whole lot more). Having a background in interior design and being the type of bride ... |

Art comes in many forms and fashions … Yumiko’s floral artistry is truly awesome. We’re sure you’ll agree! Photography by Denise Krieger We first featured Hana Floral Design as a member of Style Me Pretty’s Little Black Book this week on Katie and Colin’s over-the-top gorgeous wedding shot by the J&M Marantz team. When we first saw the floral details of their wedding, well, we just had to ask Yumiko to send us more photos from some of her other special events. The bio on her website says she has a flair for the dramatic … and … she’s a classically trained opera si... |

I’ve been a big fan of Nicolette Camille’s work for quite some time now, so I was thrilled when I opened up my inbox to see this gorgeous fall inspired bouquet she created just for Once Wed. The arrangement is dusty, textural & luscious while still feeling autumnal. Silvery greens, dusty pink, blush, soft browns, creamy ivory & touches of burgundy. Loose, romantic and abundant…Yum! P.S. – Nicolette has joined forces with Sarah of Saipua to launch a Flower School in Brooklyn. To learn more info about the class and times, check out their blog here.... |
For our wedding last July, my mother, best friend, sister and I tackled all of the bouquets and centerpieces on our own. It saved a tremendous amount of money (a couple thousand dollars actually) and it was pretty simple to do. Since then I’ve really been longing to take a floral design class or workshop so I could learn a bit about actually designing pretty centerpieces and arrangements. I love the idea of being able to craft pretty flowers for parties and just to add a bit of color to our house this summer. With that said, when I saw this floral class on the Chelle Paperie blog, held at Th... |
Blogger: Amanda Coggin Photography by: © Heather Parker Photography Some people use paint, clay or photographic media to create works of art; Theresa Arsenault prefers flowers. As the owner/designer behind Dogwood Floral Design, she approaches each event as a unique opportunity to realize her clients’ dreams. Her philosophy is that each event is a custom occasion deserving of its own personalized vision. There is no one-size-fits-all style to be found! Theresa’s fine art background translates perfectly into floral creations intertwined with striking colors, textures and shapes. Some of ... |
