This morning, I’m starting you off with a little inspiration! After this crazy week, I’m feeling like I need to have a long sleep in session this weekend, and breakfast in bed might be called for. Speaking of sleeping in, how romantic is this board? Our forevers go together? Um. Yes. I believe they do. Sources left to right, top to bottom: 1. Chris Craymer 2. Flickr 3. Johnny Miller 4. Lovely Clusters ...

Photo Credit: weddings-avenue.com I never realized a bed of leaves could be so breath-taking under the feet of a blissfully happy bride and groom.  Leaves being used as the backdrop to your wedding photo’s can be just that perfect added touch to your wedding day. Photo Credit: lovepromiseandring.com It is an absolutely beautiful and very inexpensive way to add a simple, yet colorful element to your wedding that doesn’t have to be reserved for just a fall wedding. • When I first saw these I was like “erm…is that a bed in a river?!” I thought it surely must have been some post production/photo shop trick but no, they actually lugged about 300lb of bed 3/4 of a mile down to a river to get these shots! “Bottom line-it. was. all. totally. absolutely. worth. it. I’m really pushing my approach and style as an effort to redefine expectations of photography” photographer Hollie told me. “Why shouldn’t my clients be pampered during their shoot and have a photographer who will create an environment of repose-it is after all, about them. I’m just ...

Registry Idea: If you've dreamed of sleeping in a hotel bed, now you can register for it! Westin offers an online registry for their Heavenly Bed. The all-white linens have a fresh and clean look for your bedroom, and would look beautiful with a dark wood canopy bed with white curtains. My fiance and I registered for this (and some Westin towels) after sleeping a night in the Westin Annapolis--and absolutely loving it! It is, however, expensive--$3000 for the whole set, if you have a king bed--so it's better to get it as a gift than buy it!...

When we purchased Clara's DaVinci crib last winter, we were enamored with the safety features, sustainably grown wood, non-toxic finish, and spring bottom.  But honestly, one of the biggest selling points was that the crib converts into a toddler bed AND further into a twin or full sized bed.   Three for the price of one!  I was talking about this at the hospital the other day and one of the nurses said that they didn't buy the conversion kit to their baby's crib a couple of years and now they can't find the rails anywhere!  So they cannot convert their crib to a bed...
