• Why not try feather accents on your big day?  Or even an entire feather-themed wedding!  They aren’t just for hair pieces and fascinators anymore – try them as accents on shoes, jewelry, or even the dress!  – Tram @ Phi-Style.com [images from Ultimate Bridal Mag, Extase, Free People, Erik Wahlstrom, Nawalrmili, BHLDN, Anthropologie, Trendhunter, Austin Wedding Blog, and McLaughlin Designs]...

We’ve observed that more and more brides opt for peacock feathers as insertions in the décor of their weddings. We’re for this decision and we’re glad that we jump from faded colors to complex and complete schemes. But sometimes what’s too much it’s enough and the same brides that haven’t applied for a change risk getting in the same unpleasant point- a wedding with too many details, similar to the others and even tiring in the same time. In order to help you, we’ve included a scheme of colors that exemplified for adding peacock feathers in the décor of the wedding and withou...

This week’s Detail To Love: Feathers! Feathers can be kind of iffy- they can be done tacky or they can be done elegant. These gorgeous shots of feathers in centerpieces are of course amazingly elegant!   Photography by Angela Anderson, Florals & Design By Lauren Chitwood Events   So completely romantic- I love it! And I’m not usually a big fan of feathers either, but hey, if you do something right, and do it beautifully, I’ll love it! ...

  • Feathers. So pretty, fluffy, and dainty–don’t you agree? Adding some feathers here and there just might add that subtle pop you were looking for. Plus, they’ll have you feeling as light as a feather.  (From top to bottom: Unknown, Who What Wear, We Heart It, Unveiled Bridal Designs, Style Me Pretty)  P.S: How amazing is that clutch? ...

Garlands of feathers hanging overhead... ...are not only darling, but pretty darn spectacular too.  (Hehe - just had to fit in one last feather post.)  I sure do wish I was going to a wedding or event this weekend that had this, don't you? And while I am not going to a wedding this weekend with feathers overhead, I am looking forward to this weekend as I am crafting an order, crafting up some other sparkly goodness, putting together Luna and Chloe's Etsy store inventory, working on a display area setup for something...will share more with you soon, hopefully going to see the movie ...

You know, when it comes down to it, most weddings look the same. What makes your wedding stand out in the minds of your guests {from the other 6 weddings they have already been to this summer} are all the little details.I just had to share this little picture with all of you to demonstrate my point. Now, who in the world would think of putting flowers in a sink basin at their outdoor venue!? The bride who wants no detail to be overlooked, that's who. Granted, no guest will walk away saying, "Remember those flowers the bride had in the sink basin outside?! Oh, those were just lovely." But, once...

From the FABulous {Outstanding Occasions}...This wedding design was inspired by the paisley invite by Celebrations in Paper. The coral, beige and black was a new, fun color scheme for us to work with. The programs (and many other items, including the menus, table numbers and place cards) were designed by The Invitation Lady. We found a paisley fabric to match the invite (almost perfectly:) and incorporated it into many items. We provided the florist, A Wedding Occasion, with the fabric and they covered the vases of the beautiful centerpieces to incorporate the paisley design into the tables.We...

Customizing a simple gown with a bustle of florals down the back is breath taking.  I found this image pinned by The Perfect Palette via Pinterest.  I'm always glad to see those inventive touches each bride puts on her gown--as individual as her thumb print.  Curious to hear from brides-to-be and those of you who have tied the knot: What was your own personal and custom touch . . .?...
