Last night Jillian attended the exciting new launch of BHLDN’s Fall 2011 collection, and they didn’t disappoint. They stepped up this new line about 10 notches to add more party dresses for cocktail or evening, accessories galore and lots pretty decor. The new line had a hint of 20′s glam, which we just can’t seem to get enough of these days. You’ll be able to shop these looks online next month or if you’re so lucky to be in Houston you’ll get to see them in person mid-August. A little birdy told us Chicago is next on the list. We’re just going to dive right in so kickback, rel...

Yesterday morning I attended the Monique Lhuillier show and is was beyond words. The set design was made of  floating, white, birch trees and set the stage for the nature inspired designs. Above was mine and Megan’s favorite dress by far. This picture really doesn’t capture this dress, Nightingale. The tulle illusion necklace had thoughtfully placed sparkles all over it and it was pure magic. This flirty little mini dress, Iris, was the third one shown. With some colorful heels this is the perfect wedding dress for the party girl. Monique also showed several dress with this a keyhole ...

Inspired by the unstructured style of Monet’s Gardens at Giverny, France, a contrast of asymmetries and ethereal textures. To see the entire dress gallery click here. Fall 2011 is a sea if diaphanous silk organzas and tulles. Bias draping, and hand pleating is a harmonious contrast to the supple petals of hand crafted flowers. The delicate softness of the season is contrasted with Chantilly laces, a touch of black and the luminescence of crystals and pearls. A sense of couture effortlessness. ...

Inspired by the decaying opulence of Great Expectations, the Marchesa Fall 2011 collection is simply stunning. In an ode to the Victorian Era, the collection features slightly ripped tulle and Marchesa's signature dramatic volume. A strong lace motif was also showcased, but rather than using actual lace, the designers instead opted for exquisite embroidery and delicate beading… Image credits: Style.comVisit Marchesa  Have a lovely day!… Anna ...
