When I asked Taiwanese photographer Long Sir if I could feature some of his work, little did I know how difficult it would be to choose a set to share…so I’m bringing out a selection - starting with the ethereal fashion shoot. Credit: Long Sir... |

You may have heard of DC Bouquets before – Debbie Carlisle the founder and designer makes beautiful bouquets entirely from vintage jewellery pieces, a glitzy and uber glamorous alternative to real blooms. Just yesterday Debbie officially launched her new 2012 accessories collection and asked RMW if we’d like the first sneaky peek for our gorgeous readers… Would we? Why of course we would. Especially when the pieces are elegant, feminine and oh-so fashion forward. And the photography has such a dreamy ethereal quality that you become completely lost in the images. I am also... |
Have you ever seen anything so beautiful in your life? Model Brianne and the fabulous guys at Redleaf Studios got together to shoot this ethereal, calming, vintage feeling creative shoot. The amazing hair piece was donated by Wascana Flowers. You all should know by now that I’m currently obsessed with instant film so even the polaroid shots at the end are right up my street. Thanks to Richard & Amy for sharing this with us today. ... |
I am completely obsessed with this shoot. My father was a carpenter and when I was a little girl we lived in a guest cottage on the huge estate where he worked. I spent quite a bit of time exploring the woods around our house creating adventures and dreaming up fairy tales. These gorgeous images by Kristen Booth immediately took me back to my adventures in the woods! Flower crowns? Yes please. Fairy dust? Of course. An incredible collaboration between Kristen Booth, Celeste Styling and Artistry, and Patterns On Walls. I absolutely cannot wait to see what these ladies come up with next!! ... |

I posted a while back about Louise Broad and her amazing line of ethereal shrugs, vests and hair accessories, but I wanted to post a few newer ones because they are just fantastic and you can never have too many shrugs to choose from! I keep picturing the one up top with a glamorous up-do and a slinky, bias-cut mermaid style gown - a la 1938-ish.... |
This Friday, Cake Love has been usurped by this gorgeous find… If I had been a bit more of a daring country bride, I would have gone adorned my hair with something like this. My seven year-old self would have thought it fit for the flower fairies that lived at the bottom of my granny’s garden. Handcrafted by Rosie Weisencrantz, this is an original Victoria wax floral spray, that she wove onto a natural looking headband. I was devastated to discover that it has already been sold (not that I’m planning on getting married again anytime soon!), but there are lots of other gorgeous ha... |
Happy Monday everyone!I love the combination of this palest of blues (aquamarine) with white, it has such an ethereal quality to it. Whilst white features in almost every wedding as an accent, when you introduce different textures and shades it has a whole new element to it and could easily be used throughout your wedding design. Bouquets could be all white with different textures; think magnolia, roses, babys breath, hydrangeas, ranunculus, peonies ....you wouldn't be short of options! The aquamarine in this adds another dimension, rather than use as an all out accent colour, just subtle hint... |
Today’s bridal style is all about the most amazing and ethereal Marchesa dress. To compliment her dress Blossom and Branch created this gorgeous forest-y bouquet of astrantia, scabiosas, artichokes, croc ferns, succulents, cymbidium orchids, viburnum berry, safari sunset, and fern curls. Simple nude Louboutins accented her dress. Don’t you just love how her dress moves when she walks? Would you consider a similar look on your wedding day? PS… Her dress is on sale right here!
