• I am sharing this wedding for one main reason - Sara’s dress…don’t you just love it? It was based on her Grandmother’s gown and was designed and made for her by Dame Couture. I don’t think she could be wearing a more perfect for her ensemble…the dressm the veil, the glasses, trhe shoes - it all suits her so much! Thanks for the share Olivia! Credit: Olivia Leigh Photography...

  • I always envy brides who are able to effortlessly pull together an ensemble of complementary and matching themes and colors. For example, their dress compliments the linens, and the napkins and flowers go with their wedding colors and all of the wedding party’s attire. I’m hopeless when it comes to seeing the big picture and how everything goes together. The nice thing about Wedding Paper Divas is that you can purchase an entire matching set without having to think too much about it. Here’s an example of a stationery ensemble that would work well for any wedding.   Post from: W...

Two easy ensembles from Steven Alan. Love that color combo in the first photo....

How sweet are these ensembles from Wren? While their pieces are pricey, I think these outfits could be a jumping point of inspiration for a spring wardrobe....

  • Three cheers for Gwyneth Paltrow’s Oscar number! Her ode to Jackie Kennedy’s 1961 inaugural ball ensemble was such a refreshing change of scenery from a red carpet that often consists of a barrage of all-too-similar asymmetrical gowns. I thought it’d make a perfect choice for a daring bride. I’ve had my eye on Antonio Berardi’s cream cape from his pre-fall 2011 collection for some time now and since Gwyneth’s Tom Ford version isn’t available to, well, non-Gwyneth Paltrows, it just might do the trick. I paired it with some bright accents. -Brittany fro...

I’m very excited to introduce our guest blogger for this week, Chelsea Fuss of Frolic. Chelsea writes her own lovely blog and is an all around incredible stylist. Flowers, wardrobe, props – you name it, she does it. I’ve envisioned a wedding with clean lines, a modern sensibility and a bit of casual flavor from the countryside. This super sweet ensemble, perfect for the bride or maids, includes a pink slip dress and a simple head wreath of lily of the valley and jasmine. Our model wears a bright raspberry lipstick to shake things up a little. Photographer: Lisa Warninger ...

  • Super excited to introduce one of our newest contributors, Brittany from The House That Lars Built!  I’ve continually been inspired by her work ever seeing the giant paper flowers she made for her wedding, as I’m sure you have as well.  Welcome Brittany! Deciding what to wear for my wedding about a year ago brought out the indecisive in me. One day I wanted to go art deco glamour and the next English country. One thing was for sure though: no princess! Though I loved what I wore—my mom’s old dress— I forgot jewelry entirely and would have loved to have donned a veil or ...

  • Once again, I’ve chosen a look that I would have loved to have donned at my wedding. It’s part funky, part sophisticated, part humorous, part glamorous, part sculptural, and part deco all rolled into one. It’s certainly not for the princess seeking bride. It’s for the bride inspired by the stars of classic cinemas. Think Joan Crawford or Rita Hayworth. And that leopard hat? I’d wear it every day after my wedding, that’s for sure! -Brittany from The House That Lars Built leopard hat  |  dress  |  ring  |  shoes ...

  • There have been a number of white dresses on runways from the most recent fashion weeks. Though they aren’t necessarily for brides, they sure are a refreshing departure from the standard gown. Alexander McQueen’s embroidered tulle and silk chiffon dress is a beautiful inspiration for the feminine, romantic bride. -Brittany Watson Jepsen from The House That Lars Built dress  |  shoes  |  ring  |  necklace     ...
