The latest runway collection for Elie Saab is amazing and is completely on trend (I have a feeling champagne/peach are going to be big this year,  not to mention sequins seems to have been making quite the comeback since last year). I particularly love the off the shoulder neckline which is flattering on pretty much everyone. Illusion neckline, floral appliques, a cinched waist, pure perfection. What can be said about this dress? Fabulous beading, subtle, asymmetrical draping in the skirt, its delicate and completely perfect. I love the short variation as well. Perfect for a fun cocktail ...

We hear his name on the red carpet all the time dressing up the likes of Halle Berry, Beyonce and Queen Rania of Jordan.  Elie Saab does not just design for celebrities, he also designs couture gowns for the Pronovias bridal house. Elie Saab is a Lebanese fashion designer born in Beirut.  There’s a bit of Spanish-influenced, a bit of Middle Eastern-influence, very beautiful and different.  His collections are a tribute to the feminine shape; a seductive, romantic and elegant collection combining ornamental luxury with the richest fabrics....

The Elie Saab collection on our runway is where I turn if I need glamourous, moody, gorgeous inspiration.  It makes me think of crumbling Paris ballrooms hosting lavish parties.  Take a look at the entire collection and see what it conjures for you! luv, Kimberly ...

I am completely head over heels for the Elie Saab Spring 2011 collection. I love that it’s shimmery and glamorous without being too over-the-top. The palette is gorgeous too… so pretty for Spring. A few of these would make stunning wedding gowns, don’t you think? – gia Photo Credits: Elie Saab Spring 2011 Collectioin via Style.com, first spotted on this is glamorous © gia at betsywhite for Flights of Fancy, 2011. | Permalink | 2 comments | Add to del.icio.us Post tags: fashion, wedding style ...

Okay, let's admit it, I'm smitten with all things lace especially any form of Chantilly.  This stunning real life bride is wearing an equally stunning gown by Elie Saab, called Erato.  I stumbled upon it on Once Wed in the must see post, Hyde Park Wedding.  I've always thought bare skin the ideal backdrop for lace turning it into a real work of art in soft sculpture.  A combination of Art Deco with a twist of moderne, this is one design totally tops for the bride wanting a bit of Hollywood glam....

  • There is so much beauty in the world. Some of it exists in the showroom of Elie Saab. These dresses are drop dead gorgeous. I love dresses that have a sexy flow. Any one of these dresses would bring your wedding to a screeching halt (in a good way). I've been crushing on Elie Saab's sweet frocks since the summer of 2008 when I spied the amazing gown Marcia Cross wore to the Emmys ... I love the freshness, the femininity and the details that do what frosting does to a cake ... Loving the four above from Elie's Fall 2009 Couture line for a bride and the two below from Elie's Spring 2009 Couture line for something to slip into later on the wedding night or maybe for a formal rehearsal dinner. I also think the lavender ensemble would be tres chic for a mother of the bride.Which is your favorite?...
