My grandmother  (Delphine) lived in Paris for many years, has been back to visit dozens of times, and yet has never been to the top of the Eiffel Tower because it is "for tourists." What a shame, non? Are there touristy things in your own city that you have never visited? I am guilty of having never visited lots of tourist attractions in San Diego. Like the Star of India. Silly of me. Oui! Shown above: 1: Eiffel Tower necklace from Forever 21  2: Limited Edition Eiffel Tower Letterpress Notecards by Delphine  3: Delightful pink beret by Crafts2Cherish on Etsy  4: Pink and black Eiffel Towe...

The design is finished with sugared swags of lace and fleurs-de-lis. If you have a wedding cake you'd like to submit for the blog, please email photos and a brief description to Heather Lee at contact@brides.com. —Heather Lee...

When we got an email about a new product on the market called "The Cupcake Tower" and I thought, now this I have to see! I often times serve cupcakes when entertaining guests and always love attending a destination wedding where they offer individually decorated cupcakes instead of a traditional wedding cake. This "tower" could be just the answer to my, and many other bride's, problem of how to elegantly display their sweet treats. The tower arrived in a large box - we received the biggest one they offer, holding a total of 208 cupcakes. Although the one they sent can be downsized to hold as li...

I love discovering new designers who, simply put, create exquisite pieces, pieces that need no words. Thanks to the lovely Kimberlee at Brown Button (her shop is to die for!) I've discovered Kate Towers. Not only are the pieces themselves simply exquisite but the photographs are equally gorgeous.Self taught through experimentation, an artist's vision, and hands on execution, Kate Towers creates non-seasonal, one of a kind pieces. Playing with contrasting themes and borrowing inspiration from nature and romance, Kate produces everything by hand, piece by piece, from her Portland studio. From it...
