Our venue didn’t really require a lot of decorating. The dark woodwork and stained glass really set the scene on its own. For the three tables that were fro...

Well I just can't wait any longer to transform my home into a fall wonderland!  I almost enjoy decorating for fall as much as Christmas.  Anyone else feel that way?  Don't get me wrong I love Christmas decorations.  I think I am just more drawn to fall colors. For fall I change out centerpieces, decorate the mantle, change pillow covers, and burn pumpkin spice scented candles.  YUM!  I keep it confined to the family room and outdoors (wreath, mums).  My mom even changes out her bedding!   BHG has some great ideas for fall decorating.  I just love how this one is a combo of ...

So our wedding is at an outdoor pavilion on a lake, making it have a more relaxed feel and decor. I love the idea of shepherds hooks with hanging mason jars on the ends of the aisles. I think it would be a great, easy, and inexpensive DIY decoration for the ceremony. Photo Credit: weddingbee.com blogger: Mrs. Cherry Pie ...

It seems all the buzz in planning out wedding decor seems to center on the site of the reception site.  The ceremony site is important too though! Especially the aisle, the first place you will be making your appearance on your big day! In reality, we really want all of the attention on us as we walk down the aisle, but setting the stage with pretty aisle decor is sure to make you look even better! I think that this long aisle made out of rose petals and lined with large vases is just gorgeous. Photo Credit: Martha Stewart Weddings The mix of these bright yellow flowers and fresh lemon slice...
