Jaime + Mike are currently experimenting with alternative colour palettes (I just love this part of the planning process) and have recently expressed an interest in coral. I love coral for spring/summer weddings. It's such a fun and playful palette! I wanted to share some images to help Jaime and Mike envision their wedding party in this palette. Isn't the coral absolutely stunning with grey? Photos by Jamie DelainePhoto by Kellie Kano Photography via RuffledThese dresses are gorgeous; I enjoy the use of varying shades of coral, as well. Longer days and extended periods of sunshine mean the introduction of colour back into my wardrobe. I love you, Spring. Lately, I've been gravitating towards anything and everything coral, quite possibly due to the fact that it's (a) one of our wedding colours or (b) the fact that tangerine tango is Pantone's colour of the year for 2012. Whatever the case, it's nice to see that I'm not the only one loving this warm hue. A few of my favourite things for Spring: fresh cut peonies, statement watches, eco-friendly nail polishes in bright colours, ballet flats, and bracelets. What colour(s) have y... |

This vintage coral motif is fun, bold, stylish and of course, perfectly Santa Barbara. It can also be easily carried over from the Save-the-date, to invitations, envelopes and even the place cards. Another beautiful bit of Santa Barbara wedding style from Lazaro Press. ... |
With Australia’s vast coastlines and beautiful coral reefs, reef coral makes a beautiful theme for a destination or beach wedding. Coral is precious because of the time is takes to grow – once it has matured it can endure even the fiercest storms and is an irreplaceable component of life beneath the sea. It is a beautiful reminder that love also takes time to grow, and as long as you take care of it the end result is incredible – and well worth the wait. The new collection of wedding stationery at Pink Frosting in a reef coral design is the perfect way to bring this theme to life. I a... |
With a seaside wedding coming up this afternoon I thought it was aperfect time to share this fun “Coral Coast” inspired dessert buffet from Kristy at Imbue Weddings. Kristy designed the cake and had it made by Deliciously Decadent Cake Design. I like that this isn’t a particularly full dessert buffet- there is no food apart from the cake and the cupcakes. It’s statement comes in through the array of vases, flowers and textures. Easy and beautiful! Phoots by Imbue Weddings ... |
