As a blogger, I am always reminded that we should write about what we love. Today, I am thinking about rolling with that idea and sharing some of my favorite things that I use/think of/talk about everyday. As a member of the wedding industry, I find myself having lots of coffee dates. Mix that with the fact that I have a mom who works for Starbucks, I work crazy hours and need a caffeine boost on a daily basis, and the fact that coffee just tastes good and you an explanation for the major love I have for the creamy treat. I will be the first to admit that I spend WAY TOO MUCH on coffee and cof... |
So many of us just love our coffee – from our morning cuppa to our pick me up in the afternoon or our weekend cup with our friends. Not only does it come in its many guises of cappuccino, latte or short black for instance, but it can be flavoured with chocolate syrup for a mocha coffee, hazelnut syrup or liqueur, orange zest or even coconut liqueur. A coffee colour, whether in its darkest, richest form or in a creamy latte colour lends an elegance to a wedding that is hard to beat. Team with brighter colours such as duck egg blue or green, or keep the palette soft and subdued with creams... |
I have partnered up with Starbucks to spread the great news about Via! If you are anything like me I’m always looking for “The Next Big Thing”. Well I have to tell you about this fun drink idea that my client and I discovered for the holidays! I’m at Starbucks every morning for my “wake up” fix. I actually find it hard to function until I have a couple of sips! Idea: Place some raw coffee beans at the bottom of a coffee cup ad... |

You could even send each guest home with a small bag of donuts and a cup of joe!... |

I think I need this. Although to be honest I don't think really I need anything that facilitates my burgeoning espresso habit. Sure I could fill it with nettle and peppermint tea, but yawn? For years I hated coffee. I loved the smell but the taste was revolting. Then about 2 months ago the smell became too enticing to resist. And what do you know, it was delicious. I think they changed the recipe or something. Kind of like they did with mushrooms because those things used to taste like crap but all of a sudden they're kind of yummy. It's a dangerous sign when I start shopping for paraphernalia... |
