Decorating Your Event With CandlelightOccasionally, a client of ours comes to us with visions of adding tons of candlelight to their decor. But I often feel it is an afterthought for most. After seeing so many events come together, I can honestly say there is no easier and more effective way to create ambiance, highlight your centerpieces and add drama than by adding more candles. I'm not talking about three little votives around a vase arrangement. My advise; imagine of the number of candles you think is appropriate and double or triple that! Candlelight at Pala MesaEarlier in June, I coordinated my first event at Pala Mesa. Located in Fallbrook, they have a beautiful ceremony site and our reception was held in an amazing tent. The tent was accented by uplighting, swags of fabric, chinese lanterns and a personalized gobo from Concepts. Jennifer Cole designed all of the flowers and included tons and tons of beautiful candlelight. The bride asked that the back end of the tent be left open so that we could add candlelight to a fountain. It looked magical as the sun set! My Chiffon Rosetta Candlelight Wedding DressI’m SUPER excited that I found the perfect wedding dress!! The first store I try like six different wedding dresses, and I found it right then and there. I looked for dresses at other stores, but nothing matched my chiffon dress. It was also at an amazing price! Oh and you bet your buttons I am celebrating all weekend. So happy birthday to me! Ha. Anyone that really knows me will probably be surprised that I just said that. Oh things are changing around here these days...only for the better of course ;-) I never used to make a big deal out of my birthday...always used to let it slip by, under the radar.
