We’ve had the honor of doing several cakes for the family including Gavin’s 1st birthday cake and 2nd birthday cake. The party was princess themed and Gabrielle was initially inspired by our castle cakes for the theme. Also, The Quilts of Gees Bend are on Portland right now! They are hanging out over at the Elizabeth Leach Gallery until August 1st. The cake is decorated in quilted ivory fondant with small piped pearls around the base of each tier Pink & Fuschia Dogwood Blossoms Brown branches cascade up the cake with hot pink and fuschia dogwood blossoms. Quilted Black and Red Sweet 16 CakeDamask Sweet 16 Cake We were contacted by the birthday girl’s aunt who helped design this cake for her niece’s 16 birthday party at the Embassy Suites in Parsippany, NJ. (What a great aunt!) Red ribbon separators separate each of the distinct tiers for this three tiered sweet 16 cake.
