I love these photos that Paula, from Luna Photo, submitted from Bethany and Justin's wedding at Café Pinot. Such a great place for a wedding! I'm such a HUGE fan of lanterns ... any excuse to hang a paper lantern is 'ok' in my book ... I am also really loving their floral arrangements. Tres chic! ... |
Hello, there! It’s been about a week…so what happened? Well, the blog host started an unexpected migration this past week (which led to a couple subsequent problems), hence the delay in posts. This is the first in the blog goodies I am going to share with you in this fun little game of blog post catch-up. But without further adieu… Today’s wedding is LA, baby. This downtown LA wedding of Sarah + Brad took place at Cafe Pinot and was shot by the great, talented LA photographer Adrienne Gunde. This wedding location definitely has the best of both worlds – a city skyline and nice arch... |

Morgan and Simon’s love story is a complex one beginning when they were both twelve years old in Hebrew School. Shortly after, there was a sixteen year break in which they both finished high school and college, and entered the professional world. Through Facebook they were reconnected. One year later, on the beaches of Maui, Simon proposed to Morgan. They were in Hawaii attending a wedding, a wedding in which we were the photographers! From their wedding program: “It took them over 20 years to acknowledge that sometimes, the person you’re looking for is right in front of... |

The amazing Alex at Sterling Engagements invited me to come along and play cupid and shoot a proposal at the fabulous Cafe Pinot, Los Angeles. It was such an incredible, romantic evening. It all took place under a full moon, on New Years Eve, with twinkle lights spelling out his soul mate’s question. The moment she said “YES!” Adorable couple! Greg Lyons, played “One” by U2 for the couple and then his own fantastic love songs during dinner. He is an incredible 12 string guitarist and composer. Last week, the hubs and I went to a wine seminar hosted by the hubs’ boss. The hubs’ boss and his wife love wine and these wine seminars showcase the wine that they have found during their travels. They also own with his family, a vineyard here in Germany and produce their own wine. This particular seminar concentrated on wines from Italy. We were given 12 different italian wines to taste. Armed with two glasses (you always have to one glass for water and one for the wine. Then you’re suppose to switch between the two so you don’t have wines mixing. That’s what I instructed to d... |

Every single time we think about writing shorter features … so that we can feature more weddings from our LBB members … we get so mesmerized in the images that bam! We don’t know how to stop. So when Laura or Rebecca at Docuvitae send us one of their weddings, well, quite simply, it’s a lost cause. We simply can’t narrow it down … Ahhhhh…. but I digress … from Rebecca at Docuvitae … Kirsten and Jonas were married on July 11th , 2009, at the Central Library in Los Angeles, CA. The ceremony took place in the stunning Maguire Gardens, a Los Angeles landmark built in 192... |
There is something about a wedding under the stars that gets me every.single.time. Photography extraordinaire Chelsea Elizabeth sent us this little Los Angeles number and it has all the makings for an alfresco fave: outdoor festivities at Cafe Pinot, bright and beautiful florals by Holly Flora, one of my favorite Melissa Sweet dresses and lots and lots of love in the open air. Yes, this one is definitely a keeper and you all can bookmark the heck out of it in the full gallery. Click here to see the entire gallery!
