These are people who have set a high standard in this industry and who continue to strive to raise the bar. We'll get into why they do what they do, things they can't live without and even their insider scoop on hot places in their respective cities.I am super excited with who's on board for this so far. There are going to be some great interviews! ...

  • It’s said to be the race that stops a nation. Melbourne Cup Day is all about spring. The traditional flower is the yellow rose. Today’s board is a nod to the fashion and glamour of racing season. I kicked in a hint of teal for a bit of spring colour! Rose by Mr Polka Dot, Shoes from Chinese Laundry via Endless, gown by Jo Durkin Couture, table cards from Brides, cocktail from Brides, ceremony photo from Fete NY, photo from Bride To Be, cake by Martha Stewart, silk flower by piperewan, beaded belt by Chanel via Brands Boutique ...

I thought at one point that cupcakes at weddings was only going to be a trend...BOY WAS I WRONG and so VERY happy to say so! I simply LOVE cupcakes...well any cake for that matter...but nothing beats those 5-6 bites of divine perfection and frosting!Cupcakes aren't only making an appearance in the place of wedding cakes, but brides and grooms are creating complete cupcake stations where guests can add their own toppings. Or you might to decide to display cupcakes on a dessert station or in conjunction with a candy buffet. Either way, think about making those cupcakes stand out even more with ...

Wicked Good Chocolate Peanut Butter Pudding Cups. They’re from the book, Sticky, Chewy, Messy, Gooey Treats for Kids by Jill O’Connor and just as good as their name states. Jill sent me and my niece a copy of her book as a little thank you for a post I did inspired by her Cheesecake Pops. We had a hard time deciding which recipe to try first, but we kept coming back to these pudding cups. They were really fun to make and even more fun to eat. You’ll see what I mean in a minute. And the best part… I didn’t have to do any of the work. My little helper did it all. From separating the ...

I’m not a huge sports fan. I’ll sit in the living room with Cent and “watch” a football game. Or a basketball game. But I’m not exactly into it. However, since getting married, I’ve been learning. I ask Cent about different calls in basketball and moves in football. I now get semi-upset when teams play poorly. I have no interest in baseball, but I’ll go to a game to hang out with friends and eat ballpark food. One of my best friends is a huge hockey fan, and it also helps that her boyfriend is a goalie. And when it comes to soccer, or the “real” football, it holds a special ...

I think I need this. Although to be honest I don't think really I need anything that facilitates my burgeoning espresso habit. Sure I could fill it with nettle and peppermint tea, but yawn? For years I hated coffee. I loved the smell but the taste was revolting. Then about 2 months ago the smell became too enticing to resist. And what do you know, it was delicious. I think they changed the recipe or something. Kind of like they did with mushrooms because those things used to taste like crap but all of a sudden they're kind of yummy. It's a dangerous sign when I start shopping for paraphernalia...

You may not be able to afford custom stationery design by Paper + Cup, but these mailing labels at about $1 each would be the perfect touch to a less formal save-the-date. Love them!...
