No, I’m not going to talk about my bling. I’m talking about this bling. Hoffer Photography Most brides don’t want it to rain on their wedding day, but I say: 1. Rain is good luck on a wedding day and 2. How gorgeous is this ring shot? Wouldn’t have gotten that shot without the rain! And, for any East Coast brides out there, Tony is a great Philly photographer. I found his work through a gal I work through/with at my job. I recommend him if you’re in the area!... |

I'm really into bling this week. Broaches, rhinestones, pearls. I love it all when usually, I'm a very simple (less shine is best) kind of girl. Maybe it's the dress. I will blame it all on the dress.I purchased a few pieces from Etsy seller Old Ways for These Days which I want to add to my bouquet wrap. The three pieces at bottom were titled, MisMatched Bling. How perfect. And if you want even more bling, check out Peonies and Polaroids for fabulous vintage dresses dripping with bing (but oh so tasteful!){ photo credits: tania lezak, heather waraska, elizabeth messina}... |

Abito di Ego‘ Every gown has some sort of adornment that makes it unique whether it's lace, a fabric treatment or jewels. Jewels and jeweled decoration lend a more sophisticated look to a gown . . I need to find a pair of sunglasses because this bride and wedding blinded me with how much bling I saw! I met my newest couple this season, Joann and Jean Paul, in Encino, CA and they were unlike any couple I have ever seen. The amount of enthusiasm those two had was enough for an army, or should I say an "army of bling blowe bridesmaids"! You know exactly what I mean if you've seen the episode!Joann had a crystal clear direction for her dream wedding full of sexy sparkles...however, the actual spread she showed me on the day we first met fell slightly short of chic. For such a glamorous woma... |
Before I can even launch in, I have to say that as I typed the title of this post – which I will admit, made me laugh (I crack myself up)…I received a solid eye-rolling from Laid Back Groom. Little jerk. So back to the bling. It’s pretty interesting since our ring story isn’t what most people expect. As I’ve previously mentioned, we got engaged on a cruise, my version and his version. Here’s a little peek at our cruise: We’re sinking! In Guatemala enjoying some fruity drinks in coconuts – helloooooo vacation! Bannister Caye, Belize AKA paradise The part that most people don’... |

More this week on accessories and amping up your glamour. Last night I ran accross this sweet little necklace on Etsy. Even sweeter is the description by designer, Kara at Coryell Design. How often can you read a product description that sounds like poetry? At Etsy all things creative are possible it seems. She handmade this piece above herself out of 100 freshwater pearls. While I can see this beautiful necklace paired up with just about any gown, a Jean Harlow body-hugging silhouette trumps them all. Coryell has more. Start with her pearl and sterling silver earrings first. Go to http://www.... |
Gorgeous jewelry over at Raul Frisneda Jewelry. My favorites are the earrings, no wait, the bracelet. No! Wait! The ring. It's the ring. Who cares, they're all amazing. They leave me wishing for an occasion for dressing in jewels. That reminds me. Today, is a very special day. Today is the LOST premiere. I'm a total LOST junkie. So much so that whenever I type LOST, I must use all CAPS, like in the logo... LOST! I must admit that the event is bittersweet. When we lived in Brooklyn I would host "LOST Night" every Wednesday. My friends would all come over and I would make dinner. It was the high... |
