Kind of in love with this wedding...just a little bit (ok, a lotta bit!) From a feature on Green Wedding Shoes these photos just make me gasp!I love, love, love the design aspect of weddings, however no detail compares to seeing the glow of a happy couple on their big day.... |
Cowichan Bay. Cool name, right? And this Vancouver Island locale is as gorgeous as it is cool. We’re treated today with an absolutely stunning barn wedding shot by the sweet and ever so talented, Jamie Delaine. Jamie has been blessed with a plethora of amazing brides and super cool rustic weddings. And this is definitely one of them. Erika and Malcolm’s wedding took place at a family-owned farm….the very same farm where they first met! Pretty cool, eh! I have so so so many wedding photos to share with you all so please come back for part two later today. but for now, soak u... |
Hello, hello! I hope you all had a delish Thanksgiving and fun holiday weekend. I spent mine trying to work off some of the yumminess I ate on Thursday, and decorating for Christmas (finally)!!! Unfortunately, it was 85 degrees when we were buying our tree and hanging our lights, which totally felt wrong, but I still had a blast nonetheless! Did you get a start on your holiday decorating this weekend too? Now, enough about all that- Josh + Heidi's lovely Vermont barn wedding was sent over by Amanda of Boro Creative Visions Photography, and I am so excited to share it with you! The bride Heidi ... |
You are going to love this barn wedding from one of our Hand-Picked Vendors in the Midwest, Emily Steffen Photography. Matt and Claire wanted a day that was simple, charming and a little rustic. They chose The Enchanted Barn, an ideal choice for a simply lovely Wisconsin barn wedding.Of course, it was ultra important to have their Boston Terrier Crosby at the wedding. He was decked out in a handmade bow tie that matched the groomsmen’s handmade neckties that both Matt and Claire’s moms made! We are dying over how cute Crosby is. To see more of this barn wedding check out the en... |
After a brief hiatus fraught with technical difficulties, I am happy to be back and bringing you this beautiful wedding today, courtesy of the incredible Ashley Rose Photography! You may recognize Krystle and Josh from their fun beach ball engagement session that I featured a few months back! Their wedding was equally awesome, and Krystle was kind enough to share a bit about the day with us: All my emotions hit me when we arrived at the venue. I arrived in the limo with my mom, my mother in law, all my bridesmaids, and our flower girl. As soon as we drove up I saw the twinkling lights above ... |
FINALLY! Weekend is here (almost)! This week was a zany one for us at La Belle Bride. So I’m giving the weekend the high five it deserves by spending the afternoon on a friend’s patio. With sangria. Sounds dreamy, right? Before I wish you all happy weekend, I wanted to share with you this rustic California barn wedding I blogged for Style Me Pretty. It’s helluva good design and décor. Made me want to run out and buy ten interior design magazines! See you next week, my pretties. Photography by Lisa Lefkowitz... |
I really would love it if a bride would come to me wanting a barn wedding, and needing help with all of the details and decor (details and decor are my favorite aspects of wedding planning btw). Being that much of Oregon is farm country you'd think that we'd have barn venues galore, but I have yet to find one that really rivals some of the great barn venues across the US that you see in blogs everyday. Here are a few images of barn weddings I've adored:I did hunt around to find a few local barn venues, two of which I hadn't heard of before. Green Villa Barn is a very up-to-date barn in Inde... |
Barns and rustic venues are some of my favorite spaces to work with, but as we all know, they can be hard to find. The following photos, taken at Shadow Lawn in High Falls, New York by the talented Jonas Peterson, are from a beautiful wedding. For these types of affairs, I love creating a laid-back elegance by mixing in glamorous details like whimsical light fixtures and old silver. I love this image of the bride and groom walking into the barn to greet their guests. We used long, vintage wooden farm tables and accented the space with chandeliers. For locations such as these, outdoor ligh... |

You may well recognise the gorgeous Rachel and Joe, as i featured their super cute engagement back in September. One of my favourite things about being a wedding blogger is being able to follow a couples journey from engagement to their wedding day, and today i get to do that… yey! Rachel and Joe were married at Manor Barn in Buriton in October. They wanted a day that was full of fun, not to mention filled with homemade elements and a rustic barn feel. Well i can tell you now they certainly achieved that objective :-) I so love this DIY filled wedding, from Rachel’s stunning asymmetric... |
